Senior Operations Officer
Location: Central London
Salary: £34,000 - £39,000
Hours: Full-time, permanent, 35 hours Mon – Fri 8am – 4pm
The Role
As Senior Operations Officer, you will:
- Oversee and manage helpdesk operations, ensuring requests are prioritised and resolved promptly.
- Allocate staff and resources across Estates & Facilities to meet operational and strategic priorities.
- Support the delivery of planned preventative maintenance and monitor service performance.
- Act as first point of contact for Estates & Facilities queries, ensuring a professional, customer-focused approach.
- Handle financial processes including raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and liaising with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Operations Manager and wider team.
About You
We’re looking for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of coordinating multiple services. You will have:
- Proven experience in operations or facilities management within a complex organisation.
- Strong organisational and scheduling skills, with the ability to balance competing demands.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Confidence using IT systems (knowledge of CAFM/finance systems would be an advantage).
- A proactive and flexible attitude, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
