Regional Repairs Director

Braxfield Recruitment are working with a leading London Based Housing Association to find a Regional Repairs Director.  This is a key leadership role overseeing the repairs and estate services.

The Role

As Regional Repairs Director, you’ll take ownership of:

• Reactive repairs, maintenance and voids.
• Lead specialist teams including Damp and Mould and Disrepair.
• Oversee estate services.
• Management of large contractors providing services across the organisations portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of responsive and planned repairs across a large, complex housing portfolio.
• Manage and motivate senior managers within your team.
• Ensure value for money and high standards of safety, compliance, and resident satisfaction.
• Oversee budgets, contracts, and supplier relationships.
• Work closely with residents and stakeholders to continuously improve services
• Act as a visible leader, embedding a culture of accountability, innovation, and performance.

What We’re Looking For

• Significant senior-level experience in property services, repairs, or maintenance—ideally in social housing.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing sizeable budgets and contracts.
• Customer-focused, with a genuine passion for delivering quality services.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of compliance, health & safety, and regulatory standards in housing.
