Our client, a leading Social Housing provider, are looking for a Reactive Repairs Surveyor to join their team providing a surveying service across North London and Hertfordshire.
Specific duties within this role will include:
- Delivering a professional surveying service for responsive repairs and maintenance.
- Preparing competent and thorough surveys and reports in regards to reactive maintenance.
- Preparing accurate technical advice and liaising with an in-house service provider, contractors and consultants to ensure the very best service.
- Carrying out pre and post inspections of works.
To be considered for the position of Maintenance Surveyor you must have the following:
- Essential experience as a Building / Repairs / Maintenance Surveyor working for a housing association, local authority or contractor.
- Must hold a relevant degree or qualification.
- Experience of working with contractors and monitoring quality of work.
- Ability to produce detailed reports and specifications of work.
- Excellent knowledge of building construction, building standards, planning regulations, regulatory standards, health & safety and other legislation relevant to asset management.
- Must be able to drive, have access to own vehicle and be willing to travel across north London and Hertfordshire.
Salary:
£48,000 - £52,000
