About the Team
The Property Services Manager will report into the Head of Operations and have seven direct reports with circa 27 staff members in total. The team is made up of an estates manager, estates services professionals, technical surveyors, property services co-ordinators and compliance officers.
About the Role
As the Property Services Manager you will oversee the repairs & maintenance service, void refurbishment and turnaround, the gas servicing contract, M&E services and also estate, block & grounds services. You will manage these streams with the support of your team to ensure an exemplary service is delivered to customers across all areas. Managing a budget of £2.6m year on year you will need to be an experienced budget holder with good contract management and cost control skills.
About the Person
Our client is looking for an individual who can be a positive ambassador for the organisation and promote the values across the team and to the customers that it serves. They require someone with a degree-level education or the equivalent through relevant training or experience in similar roles.
They are looking for someone with significant experience at senior management level within housing who has had substantial budgetary responsibility and evidence of driving forward an innovative, high quality and customer focused service in the relevant services areas. Knowledge of the regulatory requirements of Registered Providers is desirable along with demonstratable evidence of building and maintaining effective, productive relationships with key stakeholders.
