Our client, a local authority in London, is looking for a Compliance Administrator to support the rollout of smart meters across all residential properties. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical project in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Salary: 40-42k
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the M&E team for the delivery of the smart meter rollout project.
- Assist with compliance checks and ensure all necessary documentation is in place for smart meter installations.
- Handle electrical, gas, and asbestos-related documentation and compliance records.
- Coordinate between contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant installations.
- Ensure that all regulatory standards and local authority procedures are adhered to throughout the process.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and compliance reports.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of relevant reports and documentation.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience working within a local authority or housing association.
- Strong administrative background, particularly within M&E, electrical, gas, or asbestos compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle complex documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other administrative tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
Desirable Skills:

Experience in a compliance role related to smart meter installation, energy efficiency projects or other M&E area.

Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations for M&E services.

Experience in using Northgate or a similar housing database.
