Are you an experienced administrator with a background in M&E, electrical, gas, or asbestos admin?
Our client, a local authority in London, is looking for a Compliance Administrator to support the rollout of smart meters across all residential properties. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical project in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Location: West London

Salary: 40-42k

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the M&E team for the delivery of the smart meter rollout project.
  • Assist with compliance checks and ensure all necessary documentation is in place for smart meter installations.
  • Handle electrical, gas, and asbestos-related documentation and compliance records.
  • Coordinate between contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant installations.
  • Ensure that all regulatory standards and local authority procedures are adhered to throughout the process.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and compliance reports.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of relevant reports and documentation.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience working within a local authority or housing association.
  • Strong administrative background, particularly within M&E, electrical, gas, or asbestos compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle complex documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other administrative tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in a compliance role related to smart meter installation, energy efficiency projects or other M&E area.

  • Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations for M&E services.

  • Experience in using Northgate or a similar housing database.
