Braxfield have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a housing provider in West London that are rolling out a number of major works programmes to update and improve the safety and quality of properties for their customers.

Our client has secured funding to begin multiple projects on a number of low to medium rise properties to both modernise them and improve safety. Projects will include retrofitting or upgrading existing fire and smoke detection equipment, adding additional fire stopping, removing / replacing external cladding, new windows, doors internals and roofing. In addition they are also moving towards being carbon neutral with projects such as a new heat network being installed to eventually replace the need for gas.

The successful applicant will work closely with a team of Major Works Project Managers each looking after their own improvement projects whilst liaising with the team to draw on their strengths to collectively deliver great outcomes for residents. The properties are all within a short walk of each other so you will be able to easily go from site to site during a visit.

To succeed in this role you will need to be an experienced project manager within the housing sector and have the ability to communicate well with consultants and residents to successfully deliver large projects on time and within budget. You will need an excellent understanding of social housing asset management and the ability to maintain this in the interests of residents and the housing provider as landlord. You will have to work closely and professionally with both internal and external organisations and possess an excellent understanding of the interface between the Major Works team, Housing Management and day to day repairs teams. You will also need to demonstrate a high standard of customer service.

The works that our client is looking to carry out are exciting, challenging and incredibly important for the local community so our client is looking for something who wants to work with them to provide the absolute best outcome for their customers.

If you have the experience and feel this is something that you would like to discuss further then please submit your CV and we will get in touch to discuss the role in more detail. Please note that for the foreseeable future this role will be largely home based with site visits as necessary.
