A fantastic new opportunity for an experience Head of Repairs & Planned Works based in London. This is a permanent opportunity paying £65,000 - £70,000 and benefits include 28 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, sector leading pension scheme, healthcare plans, season ticket loans and much more!

 

The role

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the operational delivery of the responsive repairs, voids and planned investment service. Utilising the multi-disciplinary teams and contractors to deliver a customer focused service, which meets or exceeds the service offers, is delivered within budget and evidences a value for money approach.

 

You will effectively lead, manage and develop the teams to meet agreed service levels, setting objectives and agreed performance standards and providing effective reporting of KPIs and MI’s to effectively monitor the breadth of services.

 

As a Head of Repairs & Planned Works your will influence decisions to support continuous improvement of the service by understanding and analysing the sector, market and trends, leading and managing annual budget preparation and monthly review of spend, including reforecasting, revisions or amendments, adhering to Value for Money requirements and working with Asset Management and finance colleagues, develop 5 and 10 year planned investment programmes and provide information/data for inclusion in long term business planning.

 

What you’ll need
 

  • Previous experience of managing a responsive repairs, voids and planned investment service at a senior / head of level for another housing association, local authority or contractor.
  • Have a good track record of staff management and development.
  • Previous experience managing a DLO would be advantageous.
  • Be an effective line manager.
