Braxfield currently has a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Head of Business Support based in NW London. Our client is offering a salary between £60,000 - £65,000 with benefits including flexible hybrid working, 28 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, sector leading pension scheme, healthcare plans, season ticket loans and much more!


The role


The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, empowering, motivating, engaging and supporting a team to deliver a customer focused service. You will provide leadership to the team through effective coaching, mentoring, 121s and regular team meetings, ensuring that all team members understand their role and responsibilities and new starters are effectively onboarded, receive a thorough induction so they can positively contribute to the team.


You will undertake regular reviews of business processes, updating process maps/procedure guides/management training information and influence decisions to support a culture of continuous improvement and service improvements.


Other duties will include leading the preparation of annual budgets including the provision of data and commentary to support budget bids, undertaking monthly budget management reviews, reforecasting budgets, where necessary and taking action to manage spend within budget and evidence value for money services.


What you’ll need


  • Strong leadership and management experience.
  • Experience of leading multiple teams.
  • Experience of financial and budgetary control.
  • Excellent level of IT skills and literacy.
  • A proven track record of problem solving, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Previously experience of working in the housing sector.
