Braxfield have been appointed by a housing association based in London who are currently looking to recruit an experienced Estate Officer on a temporary contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all estates and common areas are monitored to meet agreed standards.

You will ensure health & safety inspections and checks are carried out on estates and communal areas, including communal risk assessments and regular reviews. This will also include carrying out initial fire regulation checks to ensure walkways are clear and fire doors are accessible.

Using your excellent customer service skills, you will liaise with colleagues on estates maintenance and ensure that repair orders are raised, checked and authorised. These skills will also come in use when assisting customers with queries and responding to customer complaints.

And finally, you will be required to attend meetings and work with contractors to improve service standard and monitor estates service and ground maintenance contracts.

This role will require you to manage a portfolio of properties around London so access to a vehicle is essential. Mileage can be claimed back at 45p per mile.
