Braxfield Recruitment have been engaged by a social housing provider based in London to source an Electrical Project Manager to join the property services department. The Electrical Project Manager will undertake the management of electrical projects and installations across areas such as electric heating, controlled entry/CCTV, communications equipment, ventilation, fire-fighting equipment, lighting conductors and electric barrier gates.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the electrical stock investment contracts for domestic housing ensuring that equipment is installed to the standard and quality required by policy and regulatory requirements and that suitable and fit for purpose service and maintenance contracts are in place for the future. They will also make sure that the services remain suitable for use for the purpose they were intended and that any work necessary or instructed is carried out as efficiently and effectively as possible with due regard to the policies and procedures.  

 

The Electrical project manager will need to work with respective contractors and consultant partners, colleagues and residents across the full range of resident services, to ensure that customer involvement and resident satisfaction is at the core of the decision making process and delivery of the electrical services.

 

The successful candidate will be expected to have an HNC in electrical engineering services or equivalent OR be working toward this qualification OR have extensive appropriate experience. They will also require a detailed understanding of all regulations, standards, codes of practice and health and safety procedures.
