Braxfield Recruitment have been appointed by a G15 housing association that are looking to hire an experienced Associate Director of Compliance on a permanent contract.
The Associate Director of Compliance will ensure the housing association achieves statutory and regulatory compliance in Gas Servicing, Lift Maintenance, Asbestos, Electrical Testing, Water Management and the wider compliance areas, ensuring the customers and buildings are safe.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Assistant Director of Fire and Assistant Director of Operations and will play a full strategic role in the Operations Directorate, proactively contributing to business planning, budget management, identifying service improvements, harnessing technology to deliver services that demonstrate value for money, achieve high levels of compliance and customer satisfaction.
The strategic management of the Service and Compliance workstream is delivered via a ‘mixed economy’ of DLO (gas servicing, asbestos surveys and electrical services) and by external contractors through a variety of contracts. The Director of Compliance will ensure that the housing association meets statutory and regulatory compliance through managing maintenance and inspection contracts for service & compliance areas.
The Associate Director of Compliance will be responsible for a £7m budget for planned works and approximately 50 members of staff. They will need to work closely with the procurement team to put in place a rolling 3 year plan of works to upgrade equipment whilst ensuring minimum disruption to customers.
