Braxfield Recruitment are supporting a local authority in Hampshire that are looking for an interim Asbestos Surveyor to join the property services team on a long term contract.

The asbestos surveyor role involves carrying out asbestos surveys and re-inspections in residential housing, communal areas and associated buildings such as garages and other outbuildings. The post holder will need to liaise with specialist contractors to arrange for samples to be taken and sent off to obtain laboratory test results and also oversee and asbestos removal.

To be considered for the asbestos surveyor role candidates must hold BOHS P402 Surveys & Bulk Sampling and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
