An exciting new opportunity for an experience Allocations & Onboarding Manager based in NW London. This is a permanent role paying £40,000 - £45,000 p/a. Benefits include 28 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, sector leading pension scheme, healthcare plans, season ticket loans and much more!


The role


The successful candidate will work in the Allocations and Lettings team and will be responsible for dealing with any queries from residents on a patchless basis from all leaseholders, shared owners and social tenants that are too complex to handle in the Customer Service Centre, with the objective of continually reducing customer complaints.


You will provide a professional & customer orientated allocations, lettings and void service with due adherence to the allocations & regulatory framework, legislation, our nominations agreements, corporate goals, the Tower Hamlets common housing register and choice-based lettings. 


You will be responsible for managing the day to day workload and performance of the Lettings team, including direct line management of 5 officers.


What you’ll need


  • Previous work experience in the housing or estate management sector.
  • Knowledge of property law
  • Several years’ experience within lettings, a proven track record of winning business and through knowledge of all aspects of the letting process.
  • Good level of IT skills and literacy, comfortable working flexibly.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Target and performance managing skills required
  • Able to work in a fast-paced target driven environment.
